I have spent the grey VT morning in bed with coffee, Edith Piaf and This book, Tattoo Machine by Jeff Johnson. Always loving a good tattoo, this book is just the distraction I needed! In the book he talks about a tattoo legend Bert Grimm, started tattooing at the age of 16 in the early 1900s and tattooed all they way up to his death in 1985! I'm a sucker for old school tatts and the people behind them, especially because i'm working on getting my half sleeve this month!
Check out Sue Jeiven, from East River Tattoo in Brooklyn, NYC. She will be the talented lady inking me up! Her gypsy heads are the first thing going on my skin. LOVE. love love love.
